Plasma Skin Resurfacing IN BOZEMAN, MT

Fractional Plasma in Bozeman, MT

Plasma Skin Resurfacing is one of our favorite tools for real, visible skin rejuvenation. Strong enough to handle deeper concerns like scarring, laxity, and sun damage, yet careful enough to keep your skin's integrity intact.

What is Plasma Skin Resurfacing?

Plasma Skin Resurfacing delivers controlled plasma energy through small, precisely spaced treatment zones to trigger your skin's own repair and regeneration pathways. It stimulates collagen and elastin production, remodels scar tissue, and improves the overall quality of the skin from the inside out.

At Instinct, we perform Plasma Skin Resurfacing with the Alma Accent Prime plasma handpiece. It is the same category of technology as Opus Plasma, and the results we see are beautiful: smoother texture, firmer skin, better tone, and visible improvement in fine lines, scarring, and pigmentation.

What it treats

Plasma Skin Resurfacing is one of the most versatile treatments we offer. It is especially effective on deeper lines that are hard to soften with gentler treatments, including crow's feet, the glabella (the "11s" between the brows), and vertical lip lines.

  • Deeper lines around crow's feet, glabella, and lip lines
  • Fine lines and wrinkles across the face
  • Skin laxity and mild sagging around the eyes, jawline, neck, and décolletage
  • Acne scarring and textural irregularity
  • Sun damage and pigmentation
  • Enlarged pores and uneven skin texture
  • Stretch marks
  • Lip rejuvenation and natural lip plumping

Why we love it

It is regenerative, not reductive. You are asking your own skin to build new collagen and elastin instead of injecting anything foreign. Results build over months as the tissue remodels, and they are long-lasting. It also works beautifully on areas that are harder to treat with other devices, including around the eyes, the lips, and the neck.

Plasma Skin Resurfacing for lip rejuvenation

We have been especially impressed with what Plasma Skin Resurfacing can do around the mouth. For clients who want fuller, healthier lips without filler, this is often the answer.

The treatment increases blood flow, improves natural lip color, softens vertical lip lines, and regenerates the tissue itself for subtle, natural fullness. Over time, it also helps prevent the aging pattern most women see in the lip area.

What to expect during your treatment

We start with a consultation to understand your skin, your history, and your goals. On treatment day, we cleanse the skin and apply a topical numbing cream for about 45 minutes. The treatment itself takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area.

You will feel warmth and some sensation during the session, but numbing keeps it manageable. Afterward your skin will be pink and warm, similar to a mild sunburn.

Downtime and aftercare

Most clients have 3 to 5 days of visible recovery. You may see small bronze or brown dots on the skin for a few days as the treated zones heal. This is normal and sloughs off on its own.

During recovery, keep the skin hydrated with barrier-supportive products from our Dermavisuals collection, avoid direct sun exposure, wear physical SPF, and skip active ingredients (retinoids, acids, exfoliants) for about a week. Let the skin heal without picking or peeling. We will send you home with a detailed aftercare plan.

Am I a candidate?

Plasma Skin Resurfacing is appropriate for most skin types and tones, and we tailor settings to your individual skin. It is a great fit if you want to address signs of aging, scarring, or laxity in a regenerative way. We will evaluate your skin at consultation to make sure it is the right treatment for you.

Most clients do a minimum of three sessions, spaced at least 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Packages and pricing

We offer discounts on packages of four, eight or twelve sessions, and treatment areas can be mixed for larger package discounts. Most clients go through an initial series of three sessions and save the fourth for annual maintenance.

Packages are valid for 12 months from purchase, so there is plenty of room to fit your maintenance session into the window.

How does it compare to ClearLift?

We get this question often. ClearLift is gentler, has no downtime, and is best for overall tone, fine lines, and early aging. Plasma Skin Resurfacing is more intensive and better suited for deeper concerns like scarring, significant laxity, and pigmentation. Many clients use both as part of their long-term skin health plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions of Plasma Skin Resurfacing will I need?

Most clients do a minimum of three sessions, spaced at least 4 to 6 weeks apart. You will see improvements after the first treatment, and full results build over 3 to 6 months as new collagen develops. Our package of four gives you a discount on your initial series plus an annual maintenance session.

Does Plasma Skin Resurfacing hurt?

With 45 minutes of topical numbing, most clients rate it a 3 or 4 out of 10. It is manageable, and our team checks in with you throughout.

When will I see results?

You will notice brighter, smoother skin within two weeks. The deeper remodeling continues for 3 to 6 months after your last session.

Can Plasma Skin Resurfacing be combined with other treatments?

Yes. We often layer Plasma Skin Resurfacing with facials, ClearLift, and RF microneedling in long-term plans. Your provider will map out the right sequence for your skin.

How long do the results last?

Because you are building new tissue, results are long-lasting. Most clients maintain with 1 to 2 sessions per year after their initial series.
