Meet Laura
Laura Selby is the founding partner of Instinct Holistic Medical Spa in Bozeman, MT. She is a licensed as an esthetician, esthetics instructor, massage therapist, and is also a certified laser technician, providing advanced cosmetic solutions with long-lasting results. Laura brings a vast array of aesthetic skills and expertise using the most advanced technology for cosmetic services. She has an in-depth knowledge of cosmetic chemistry and ingredients and pursues continuing education to advance her skills and qualifications.
Training
Laura began her career in esthetics during a summer from university, attending esthetics school in Bend, OR. She worked as an esthetician throughout her college career, and during time spent in Australia and Canada, working in a variety of spa settings, including medical spas, day spas, and resort spas. In 2008 she completed studies in advertising and business at the University of Oregon, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree. She also completed a diploma program in journalism and photojournalism from the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria, British Columbia in 2007. In 2011 she returned to school at Montana State University to pursue studies in the premedical sciences, including chemistry, biology, microbiology, sociology, psychology, and nutrition. She maintains knowledge as an aesthetician by pursuing continuing education studies and has advanced certifications from Pastiche International Skin Diagnostics, Alexandria Sugaring, Oncology Esthetics, There International Dermal Institute, Craniosacral Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage from The Upledger Institute, CIDESCO International, among others.
